Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
  • Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Service Advisor

Service – Burnet, Texas

Position Summary: The Service Advisor at Cecil Atkission Motors Burnet plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless execution of service labor and parts purchases. By adhering to Cecil Atkission Motors Burnet’s processes, the Service Advisor contributes to long-term customer satisfaction and retention.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers warmly, record concerns accurately, and generate precise work orders.
  2. Monitor the status of open repair orders, keeping customers and technicians informed of progress.
  3. Acquire the necessary training to understand warranty coverage for each franchise.
  4. Initiate regular contacts with previous customers, scheduling appointments for maintenance.
  5. Notify customers when ordered parts arrive and coordinate appointment schedules.
  6. Assist the cashier in closing tickets and notifying customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
  7. Explain repair order charges to customers and promptly report service issues to the service manager.
  8. Strive to meet management’s benchmarks for sales per repair order, total gross profit, repair orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.
  9. Enforce safety precautions within the work area.
  10. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Service Technician

Service – Burnet, Texas

Service Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Service Technician Qualifications

  • No experience required. All GM training offered!
